Dr. Vik Saxena [Comcast]

Vik Saxena is the Director of Optical Network Architecture at the Corporate Advanced Engineering Group at Comcast Cable. He is responsible for IP/optical access and transport architectures. Mr. Saxena has a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and a B.E. in Electronics and Communications Engineering. He started his career at Bell Laboratories, Lucent Technologies and following that he worked with JDS Uniphase and Narad Networks prior to joining Comcast Cable. Mr. Saxena is a Senior Member of the IEEE and has been invited to present and publish at several international conferences and technical workshops.
