Dr. Enrique Hernandez [Lucent Technologies]

Enrique Hernanzez is a Consulting Member of the Technical Staff with the Optical Networking Group of Lucent Technologies where he works on network architectures, protocols and system engineering aspects of converged optical/packet transport systems. He received his B.Sc degree in Electrical Engineering from the  Universidad Simon Bolivar, Caracas, Venezuela, and his M.Sc and Ph.D degrees in Electrical Engineering from the California  Institute of Technology, Pasadena, California. Dr. Hernandez-Valencia has over 15 years of experience in the design and development of high-speed communications systems and services. He is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Association for Computing Machinery and Sigma Xi societies.
